Video quality on Xbox will once again not suck

You can argue whether Xbox dropped the ball on certain areas of the Xbox Dashboard redesign, like pushing out indie games with ads, but one inarguable con to the update is the inexplicable video downgrade that was discovered shortly after the Dash switch. Fortunately, our Future Media friends over at GamesRadar have passed along word that the days of washed-out Xbox videos may be behind us soon(ish... maybe.)
You see, Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb finally addressed the issue earlier today via Twitter, stating that Xbox is working on a fix. Unfortunately, he couldn't promise a timetable for the repair, but he did promise an update on the situation soon.
How have your video experiences been since the Dashboard update? Have you noticed any quality issues?

I don't know if it's because of the update or not, but Netflix definitly looks fuzzier, not nearly as sharp of focused. Could just be the stream, but I don't remember it looking as bad.
