Tomb Raider delayed to first quarter 2013

It may just be me, but I see a real problem developing because of all these major games being delayed into 2013. The Xbox 360 will be at the end-of-life stage then. I've been an Xbox fan since the first one came out and I've bought lots of games for the two consoles. However, when I upgraded my computer's video card to a GX560i it came with a free copy of Batman Arkum City. I installed it on my Core i7 PC and I was blown away at the DirectX-11 graphics and the general speed of the game experience. It made me acutely aware of the dated stuttering graphics on the 360 and even more of the SLOW boot up and scene changing speeds. The contrast between my computer and the old 360 really opened my eyes to how outdated and slow the 360 is. Add to that the fact that Microsoft is turning the 360 into a cash cow with all of the paid content and I'm afraid that with Skyrim I've purchased my last 360 game.

Do you remember when the 360 was a game machine that you could set up to boot directly into the game that was in the DVD drive as soon as you turned it on? Now you have to slog through videos, music and advertising to search for any games.

I feed my 62” HD TV directly from the computer through HDMI and use an Xbox controller plugged into the PC for gaming. Can anybody give me a reason not to switch back to the PC for all of the games that come out between now and the Xbox 720?
