Star Wars: Force Unleashed II - Endor review
Carving your way across Endor, massacring every Ewok, Rebel, and Imperial in your path — what Star Wars nut hasn’t harbored this sort of twisted fantasy? After having a go at it in the new Force Unleashed II DLC, though, we’ll stick with our dreams.
Endor offers a potentially fascinating “What if?” scenario where Vader sends Starkiller (or the version seen in Force Unleashed II’s “dark side” ending, maybe) to stop the Rebels from destroying the shield generator on Endor, as they did in Return of the Jedi. That could’ve been awesome, but missed opportunities abound.

Instead of tree-hopping verticality, you get dull, mostly horizontal terrain. Ewoks come in a few varieties (including a nifty glider-sporting version), but their sweet enemy-crushing traps — dropped rocks, rolling boulders — are nowhere in sight. Even the two boss battles against Han Solo, Chewbacca, and a hero we didn’t expect are boring button-mashers.
It’s hard to be too picky, though, given the shockingly low cost of this hour-long slaughter: one dollar. At that rock-bottom price, we can’t help but recommend this so-so expansion…if just barely.
