Spec Ops: The Line pushed back to June, preorder DLC detailed

2K Games has announced that Spec Ops: The Line goes on sale in North America on June 26, 2012, with an international release to follow on June 29. This date effectively delays the military third-person shooter three months from its originally announced release window of spring 2012. Players who pre-order Spec Ops: The Line will receive bonus in-game DLC items for use in the game's multiplayer. The game's single-player campaign takes place in a ruined Dubai, wracked by catastrophic sandstorms, as covered in OXM's last preview.
In addition to the single-player campaign, Spec Ops: The Line offers class-based, squad-based online multiplayer. Players who pre-order Spec Ops: The Line get to begin the multiplayer game with access to the FUBAR pack, which grants perks including one week of double XP, ability to unlock the AK-47 at rank one, Officer class unlock at rank one, and a selection of exclusive accessories that can be used to customize a character's look. In short, anyone who places a pre-order for Spec Ops: The Line will have an immediate advantage in multiplayer.
