Sega “may” be working on Shenmue HD

As Dreamcast titles go, Shenmue is arguably the most revered. Fans have been clamoring for a sequel or re-release of the open world adventure title for years.
According to a recent Game Reactor interview with brand manager Ben Harborne, there just might be some hope for those fans yet. When asked if Sega had any more plans for Dreamcast remakes, such as the recently revealed Jet Set Radio, Harborne said there had been a lot of fan requests for two titles in particular.
"Shenmue," he answered. "That, and Skies of Arcadia. They're a couple of our most requested games. I can't say 'yes' or 'no', but we may be working on them."
Ah, the ever cryptic “may.” Though it isn’t an outright confirmation that Sega is working on HD remakes of both Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia, Harborne was careful not to shoot down the idea entirely. While we’ll still have to wait for an official confirmation from Sega, this statement is at least a step in the right direction. Maybe.
