Saw review
You didn’t know former Detective Tapp survived the first Saw movie, did you? Danny Glover’s been replaced, but Tobin Bell’s grim voice guides the poor, doomed sap through the crumbling labyrinth of an abandoned lunatic asylum. When you aren’t collecting case files that contain virtually no new information or getting your head vaporized by shotgun tripwires, you’ll work to save the lives of six dipsticks who hate your guts.

Stalking the thick shadows of the detailed and trap-laden environment with only a lighter, camera flash, or flashlight is deliciously oppressive, and it creates an atmosphere of clinging dread. Unfortunately, the rest of the game is a time-pressure hodge-podge of stale circuitry, plumbing, and gear puzzles with a painfully clumsy fighting system bolted on. Whether you’re swinging a pipe or a scalpel, the controls never feel responsive, and rotten collision detection will drive you mad before Jigsaw’s twisted games even have the chance.
On Xbox 360
+ Dark, tense world where death seems to lurk in every shadow.
- Poor fighting mechanics make the weapon variety moot.
- Not a single puzzle worthy of Jigsaw's intellect.
? Where's the iconic music and flashy hyper-speed flourishes?

they wont realize that because they know they can continue to make ridiculous movie games simply cause the casual gamer will but them.i find that most ppl who buy movie games are the same ppl who buy "are u smarter then a 5th grader?"and it is really lame how game companies continue to cater to the casual gamers and the hardcore gamers are left in the cold

This Review is terrible. I've Played the game and Have to say it's not bad at all. I'm also not the only one that thinks the same way , Check out other websites. This review looks like it has been written by a jackass. ps: Xbox sucks.

If xbox sucks then why do you have an account with OXM? Idiot. I hate trolls that sign up for an account on different sites just so they can bash something. Especially fanboys. I myself have the 360 and PS3 simply because I'm a gamer. I love games. It doesn't matter what system it is as long as the game is good. Fanboys are just ignorant jerkoffs. Most of them probably haven't even played anything on the other systems. They just have one and so they have to defend it so they don't feel like they wasted their money. People are stupid, I swear.

I'm not surprised this game did not perform well, but I'm even more surprised that it didn't have good puzzles. Movie -> Game = BAD Why won't publishers realize that?
