Rock Band Download Low-Down: Week 3

Black Sabbath Pack
WHAT ROCKS: Though all three tracks — “N.I.B.,” “Sweet Leaf,” and “War Pigs” — are covers, their quality is outstanding, with a damn impressive Ozzy stand-in leading the way on vocals. “War Pigs,” which Harmonix also featured in Guitar Hero II, is far and away the most awesome song here. On guitar, some incredible riffs featuring tough-but-not-impossible hammer-ons and pull-offs are a blast to nail, while drums also keep you on your toes the whole way and bass also keeps the HO/POs coming.
WHAT SUCKS: Unfortunately, “Sweet Leaf” might be enjoyable only while on the substance the song is named for. It’s highly repetitive for all parts, and, to quote a fellow OXM band member, “never really goes anywhere.”
FINAL VERDICT: “War Pigs” is easily worth an individual purchase regardless of your instrument preference (buy it!), and “N.I.B.” is rather good, but “Sweet Leaf” is the weakest of the bunch. It’s probably worth splurging on the whole pack only if you’re a die-hard Sabbath fan.

'Sweet Leaf' might be weak for you, but it's the hardest one of the 3. So, in your face! My GamerTag is deltaXkila. I have too many friends on Xbox Live. I have no life.

one who pawnz is the one who was a lot of time on his hands ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~i don't have Rock Band but i'm gonna get it soon, and i do have GHII and i thought War Pigs was an okay song. its really weird though...

Im a huge black sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne fan,(im going to an ozzy concert on 12/22) but war pigs just didnt satisfy me, the guy singing didnt sound like Ozzy at all and the distortion didnt sound the same as in guitar hero II.

I completely agree about Sweet Leaf, good song but not super fun to play. BUT War Pigs is just so much fun. like they said, DOWNLOAD IT! NOW! Go stop reading now and buy it.
