If you've ever taken the scenic route through 2009's Trials HD, you may have parked yourself next to a mysterious series of numbers, letters, or shapes (and we're not talking about the Gamertags of the ghost racers). Apparently, it was all part of a riddle that had gone unnoticed for years (before Kotaku discovered the first clues in 2011) and unsolved until today. Or perhaps even longer than that.
The Redlynx YouTube page was updated today with a video entitled "The Riddle Revealed" that points out each of the clues within the game, and how they are tied together. It even promises an answer, which it (kinda?) provides after 8 minutes of references to famous word puzzles, math equations, and other bits of notable trivia.
To be honest, after repeated viewings and discussions amongst the OXM staff, we're still not sure if we understand anything about "The Riddle." All we know is that we're going to be checking out Trials Evolution's insane new additions with an eagle eye.
Hi guys, thanks for posting the video. As I made the thing, Im happy to talk you through anything about it if you have any more 'questions' for me ;) Appreciate the post too!
