Is Harmonix planning on releasing a long-range list of the upcoming Rock Band downloads? I know they have one out that runs till the end of January, but I'm talking like a quarterly list?

God we wish, just like you do. But nope, Harmonix won't be doing that, and not because they're mean. (They're nice, decent folks, actually.) But the task of negotiating licenses with dozens of artists, tracking down masters, converting them into playable songs, and delivering them to Marketplace is one that's fraught with many perils and potentials for delays. Harmonix certainly has its plans laid out for the next quarter, but if you ask them tomorrow for it, it'd probably have changed dramatically from what they told you today. So putting out a list like that would be just begging for fan disappointment and assorted bursts of interweb rage -- they're wise to only say what they're sure of, week by week. That list through the end of January, by the way, was actually an accidental posting by Microsoft that wasn't supposed to go up.

Well, I really enjoyed Rock Bands setlist, and the DLC, especially Blink 182, but I want some harder stuff. Like, stuff not a lot of people would download, but I would VERY much appreciate it. Like, some screamo, metalcore, stuff like that.
It's not the only music I like, don't get me wrong, I love classic rock and modern punk and stuff, but that has all been in the rythm games. Seeing Slipknot and Slayer in GH3 was awesome, but I didnt really like GH3 all that much, at least compared to Rock Band.
If I could see "Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over" by The Devil Wears Prada come on Marketplace, I would probably cry. Playing the insanely awesome intro riff, then letting loose with the psycho screams would melt my heart in a dark way that singing "Wanted Dead Or Alive" NEVER could.
