OXM Talks GTA IV on Inside Xbox

For OXM's third segment on Inside Xbox, Corey and Paul sit down to talk GTA IV. Aside from proving why we write for a living :), we talk everything from tips for getting started to the craziest places you'll find yourself in Liberty City. Check it out starting Friday, April 25! (If you haven't found Inside Xbox yet, start up your 360 without a game in it, and look under your gamertag info on the dashboard.) And be sure to catch our June 2008 issue for Corey's massive GTA IV review and strategy guide, or you can also catch his review here on OXMonline.com starting April 29.

Special thanks this time around go to Colin McAuliffe, Russ Jaquith, and the talented Inside Xbox team at Microsoft. If you prefer to watch this or any other Inside Xbox video on your PC or other non-360 device, you can go here, but this site does trail a couple days behind what's currently on Inside Xbox.

I can't wait to read the review - has the magazine been published yet? if not when? And I saw video reviews of the game already. As far as comparison, GTA4 looks sharper on the 360 with better looking fogs and other things (imo). IGN gave it a perfect 10. Also in my opinion having played through all games several times, i think the only two that didn't deserve 10s are Mass Effect (graphics surely weren't up to par and combat mechanics were so lacking) and Bioshock. Seriously, though.. you (OXM) should have slammed Bioshock for not having an online component! You say, "oh, but the story's so good!" Granted, also for mass effect but they were far from perfect compared to other 10-rated games that you reviewed. Thank you, my 2 cents. On the GTA4 front.. I'll have to play it and like I mentioned, see the review on the mag as to why a 9.5 (if that's even the score they gave it, don't know, heard). Until then...

Wow im sad. Apparently a feature for the PS3 version is once the game has been popped in and loaded once....no more loads at all. Apparently this is not a feature for the 360 and i hear the visuals are a little better but hardly noticeable, but the lighting and stuff is bettter on the 360 version...saw all that on the video review for it on ign.com by Hillary Goldstein. As for that beard business...lookin good Paul lol im just kiddin man

I'll agree with Paul on the shaving part, however, I still dig the clean look on Paul. It's probably because ever since he's been at the magazine, he's shaved. Oh well!

The helicopters look sweet. I have a question though: Will looking for a 'free-roam' match get us into matches for random people? Or is it all about friends?

I love that this went straight to "PAUL HAS A BEARD!" when the topic is so pertinent. Well, when in Rome: Don't listen to them Paul. The beard is badass.

Errrr... Can't wait... CAN'T WAIT. I'm gonna have to freeze myself until Tuesday at 12:01 if I am to bear this wait. (Ripping off a cartoon episode... And the item the cartoon character is jonesing over turns out to be a piece of crap in real life)

I like Paul better without the facial hair, but that's just me!
