No new choices offered in Mass Effect 3 ending DLC

The ending was fine with me, let Bioware make the ending they wanted to show us and move on. But delaying already planned DLC to change the end for some fans who didn't like it seems absurd.

SPOILERS!!!!!!! The choices still make no sense for some people. If you spent all that time trying to save the Geth and bring peace between them and the Quarians, for instance, then what was any of it worth? If you chose "control," then Shepard dies(you may want him to live) and you end up controlling all the synthetics, including Geth. If you choose "destroy," then you destroy all synthetics, including the Geth and EDI, and all that hard work you did was POINTLESS. If you choose "synthesis," then you're taking away the individuality and importance of every species in the Galaxy. That's the absolute worst choice of the choices, and I'm shocked anyone would agree with it.What if you wanted Shepard to live? The only way was to choose destroy, and that's only if you played the FORCED multiplayer to get your military strength high enough to see the cut scene. And still, you have to accept that all syntehtics are destroyed. It's garbage. What about the Normandy? How did they mysteriously survive an uncontrolled crash and somehow luckily end up on a planet that supports life? And why do we have to accept the fact that Shepard and his love interest, Ashley or otherwise, can't live together beyond these events? The sad thing is that there's not a wide range of possibilities here. Bioware sold us the message that the end would be highly personal and based on our own personal journeys and decisions. In the end, Bioware chose the ending for us based on their own desires. I want a chance to do what Shepard was always trying to, stop the reapers and live happily ever after. But I also want the option for everything to go to hell and the reapers win. Bioware didn't even give us THAT option. In the end, the reapers are defeated in one way or another, but none of the outcomes are acceptable to many people.

first, you are completely wrong about multiplayer being forced. second, you clearly do not understand what took place in the ending. Please go read the previous artcile about what the ending means.

Props to Bioware for trying to please their customers. This was an amazing game. A once in a decade type RPG that goes above and beyond in many ways. The real tragedy is that the game has been over shadowed by a loud minority's complaints about the end. In my mind, people are mad because they don't want it to end. These people should realize, however, that more mass effects will be made. I had several friends who said Halo 3 was the end for MC. I always said: "guys, it is the most successful xbox franchise ever. There will be more. Trust me. Money Talks". There will be more from shepard. Mass effect is no where near complete. Can't wait!!

Did you miss the poll that said that something like 87% of people wanted them to fix the ending? How is that a minority?

I don't understand the people who are fine with the ending as it is, it's hugely flawed and makes no sense if you're familiar with the 3 games and the overalll Mass Effect lore. I'm glad BioWare are working on clarification and there are a few ways they can make sense of the current endings by just expanding them. I don't want to post spoilers but they can satisfy everyone and keep their artistic vision quite easily if they do it right. I guess we'll find out in the summer.

I was perfectly fine with the ending, I just didn't like that my previous choices didn't seem to matter, happy Bioware is fixing just that.
