In 2010, High Moon Studios crafted what many consider the best Transformers game in the form of War of Cybertron. This year's iteration of robot action (Dark of the Moon) didn't quite hit the same highs, but all parties are hoping the return to Cybertron will take the Transformers to new heights. Game Informer has the first details for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, as the game will be on the cover of their next issue.

Due in 2012, the game will be published by Activision and developed by High Moon Studios, the same duo that created the previous two Transformers titles. Like War for Cybertron, this game will not be associated with a concurrently-releasing movie, as a fourth Transformers movie has yet to be announced.
