Even though the spring-due Grand Theft Auto V is likely less than a half-year away, new details have been sparse. While a trailer is due next week (delayed due to Hurricane Sandy), a bit of new information has come to light today as Game Informer has released its cover story.
According to the cover reveal, GTA V will have three protagonists that will be utilized "in a groundbreaking way" in the city of Los Santos, which GI says is "the biggest open world Rockstar has created to date." One of the trio -- the gasmask-toting man on the right -- looks very similar to the man shown on an awning in the game's original trailer, though nothing about the protagonists has been confirmed yet. As more information from the cover story comes to light, we will deliver it.
