Activision has released new details about the Prototype 2 Limited Edition, along with an image of this version's unique box art. Where the regular edition uses simple black packaging with the game's logo, the Limited Edition features art in the style of the first game's box art, a depiction of new protagonist Sgt. James Heller.

Goodies are shipping with the Limited Edition, too, though primarily of the digital variety. Limited Edition buyers of Prototype 2 get access to an extra power in the game (Flesh Cleaver), which will hopefully be appropriately powered so that owners find it useful while non-owners aren't left in the dark. The Limited Edition also comes with a special avatar and a behind-the-scenes DVD.
