Major League Baseball 2K12 is shaping up to be a pretty good game, but we're not deluding ourselves... it's been a long time since 2K Sports ruled the console baseball diamond (MLB: The Show, how we long for thee). Thankfully, 2K Games realizes that, and has added a pretty major incentive to check out their March-due take on America's Pastime.

On opening day for MLB 2K12 (March 6), fans will have a value-packed option alongside the traditional $60 standalone package. For just $10 more, sports fans will be able to pick up a bundle that includes both MLB 2K12 and last year's OXM Sports Game of the Year, NBA 2K12. The combined price for both games? $70 -- only $10 more than the standard single-game price! Even if NBA 2K12 will be nearly 6 months old at that point, we're sure that it'll still be relevant (and updated) in March as the NBA ramps up towards the playoffs.
