M. Bison and Ling Xiaoyu join Street Fighter X Tekken roster

Two new additions to the roster for Capcom’s version of the fighting game mash-up pitting Street Fighter against Tekken have been inadvertently revealed. In an image on the Xbox Marketplace, M. Bison and Ling Xiaoyu were spotted as playable characters. Shoryuken found the photo in question, and point out that though they aren’t the fighters in the main image, the presence of the two new combatants can be seen as the partners of Heihachi and Dhalsim. The Street Fighter X Tekken roster now comes out to a fairly robust 30 characters when Bison and Ling are added.
Since the reveal was on the unofficial side, there’s no information about what either of the two new fighters will bring to the table. It should be assumed that Bison will play almost identically to how he did in recent Street Fighter IV titles, but Ling provides a bit more of a challenge. Since so many of the Tekken fighters will have their moves slightly tweaked to the Street Fighter style, her move set will likely have some discrepancies from what players are used to.
Street Fighter X Tekken arrives in just over a month, and we can’t imagine Capcom staying mum on the official announcement for these characters for much longer now that the cat is out of the bag. What do you think of these additions? Are Bison and Ling a good use of roster space, or would you have rather seen someone else make the cut?
