Lego Batman 2 is already boasting a pretty impressive cast of characters, but according to several retailers, that roster is about to get even bigger. Two new DLC packs will be offered as a pre-order incentive for Lego Batman 2, one for heroes and one for villains. Originally spotted on a French Lego fan site, the Hero pack includes notable caped crusaders such as Captain Marvel, Nightwing, Damian Wayne Robin, Katana, and Zatanna. The Villain pack, originally detailed on German retailer MediaMarkt, will feature Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold, Black Adam, Bizarro, and Black Manta.
The Hero pack is currently listed as an incentive on the Australian EB Games page, while Amazon is offering the Villain pack as an incentive for US customers. There’s no indication as of yet whether or not the Hero pack will be made available at another retailer in the US, but there’s a pretty good chance the content will be made available to everyone for a fee once the game arrives next month.
For die-hard comic fans, seeing the inclusion of characters like Katana and Black Manta in a video game is great news, and we’re eager to see what each of these new characters brings to the Lego Batman 2 game.
