Kinect Star Wars due April 3; here's the game's five modes
The force will (finally) be with Kinect owners in less than two months, as Kinect Star Wars will be coming to the Xbox 360 on April 3. Upon release, the game will sell as a standalone game for $50, and part of the previously revealed Limited Edition bundle (which includes the game, as well as a custom-designed Kinect and 320 GB Xbox 360 console) for $450.
Alongside the release date, Lucasarts revealed the suite of modes that gamers will allow gamers to re-enact classic (and not-so-classic) Star Wars scenes. The Rancor Rampage and Podracing modes had new screenshots revealed, while the previously-revealed Jedi Destiny mode will add diversity with space battles, speeders, and duels with evil Sith warriors like Darth Vader. Beyond the previously-revealed trio of modes, two more games have been confirmed by Lucasarts; the Duels of Fate mode (in which players face a string of battles against the champions of the Dark Side) and Galactic Dance Off mode (a dancing minigame that pits players against the likes of Darth Vader on the dance floor set to Star Wars-themed music).
You can see the screens for all five of the game's modes in the screenshot gallery below. Are you planning on picking up the game or bundle?
