Shopping Crazy certainly will give you plenty of practice squeezing your way through the masses and packing your cart as you travel from store to store. This fun spatial puzzler has you moving purchasable goodies around to clear a path to the exit…something that'll come in handy when you need a break from the hordes.

Pixel Boarder (240 MS Points, Pixelfriends)
If turning the slopes red isn't your thing, carving them up in a totally different way might be a better fit for some lighter-hearted seasonal fun. Pulling off crazy stunts is just as awesome as wiping out spectacularly in this retro-inspired snowboarding game. A funky 8-bit chiptune soundtrack and fully customizable heads and attire for your boarder ramp up the cool factor as you shred the pixelated mountain.

Pioneer (400 MS Points, Laurent Goethals)
Setting out into the unknown and carving out a new civilization in an unexplored world is hard work. Gathering berries, chopping wood, slaying undead creatures, and keeping the local bunny population from growing so big it mows down all the trees is enough to keep you occupied as you grow your village's influence. Compared to battling skeleton warriors and wild tigers, Columbus had it easy.

If you love making Jack-o-lanterns but don't like getting your hands all slimy with nasty pumpkin innards and goopy seeds, then this funky little non-game might be just the thing for your Halloween festivities. Carving up 3D pumpkins to your heart's content is surprisingly addictive, and you can make some pretty elaborate designs. Even better: you also get to watch some headless dude carry it around the woods on horseback.

Mama & Son - Clean House (80 MS Points, Ludosity Interactive)
Who says Mother's day has to be all about flowers and cheesy cards? A perfect co-op game for mother and son, this unique 2D shooter has one player blasting away alien invaders while the other cleans up the debris to make more ammo for maximum carnage. Since munitions are scarce, sweeping junk into the recycling bin to produce the bullets needed to keep your guns blazing is a neat twist.
