Horror-themed deals & releases on Xbox Live this month

The time for Major Nelson's fortnightly collection of Xbox Live Marketplace arrivals and price-drops, which you can find here. If you're not a fan of scanning Larry's spreadsheet and converting Microsoft Points, we've collected the highlights here.
Xbox Live Arcade: We've already heaped praise upon Dungeon Defenders, which we know is great, as opposed to Bejewled 3, which we think could be great (read: we haven't reviewed it yet). Next week brings Daytona USA, War of the Worlds, and Zombie Apocalypse 2, all of which should be reviewed in short order, so keep an eye open for all of 'em! Both of this week's games are $15, while next week's stuff is uniformly $10.
Deals: Halo and horror fans looking for cheap thrills are in luck, as Reach's map packs are half price at $5 a pop. Meanwhile, the "Shocktober Savings" event has started with Castlevania: Harmony of Despair at $7.50 (normally $15), while the original Zombie Apocalypse drops to $5 to help players prep for next week's sequel. Next week will continue the zombie-themed deals as Dead Rising 2's standalone prologue and epilogue can be bought for $5 and $2.50, respectively. There's also a "Kinect Anniversary Celebration" due to drop deals for two weeks, but the details haven't been revealed yet. Just to be safe, we'd recommend holding off on purchasing Dance Central tracks or Fruit Ninja.
DLC: The first campaign continuation for Deus Ex arrives this week for $15 -- expect our verdict on "The Missing Link" sometime this week. Next week brings interstellar-themed DLC for A World of Keflings for $4, along with a $3 add-on for Toy Soldiers, so simulation and strategy fans should have a bit to add to their games.
On-demand & Avatars: With the World Series kicking off today, the younger fans of our national pastime can now enjoy some hardball without buying a disc as Little League World Series 2010 joins Games on Demand. In keeping with Xbox's horror tilt, Saw II goes on-demand next week. Last, but not least, there will be KISS and Beavis & Butt-head Avatar gear over the next week. Here's hoping they manifest in facepaint and Cornholio-style t-shirts, respectively.
You can find all of Xbox Live's comings and droppings on Major Nelson's blog. Are you planning on buying anything new or on sale on Xbox Live over the next few weeks?

I'm thinking about getting Dungeon Defenders but I have to make sure that my friends get it also because that is not the type of game I'm playing by myself. Also Daytona is a must get. I hope they eventually release Daytona 2 also.
