Harmonix's CEO top contributor to Stephen Colbert's Super PAC

Rock Band and Dance Central developer Harmonix isn’t known for its political action, but that changed today when it was revealed its CEO donated thousands of dollars to see a better tomorrow, tomorrow.
The New York Times reports that Harmonix head Alex Rigopulos gave a whopping $9,600 to the Super PAC Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow, which is run by "conservative" talk show host Stephen Colbert of “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central.
Okay, so maybe $10,000 doesn’t seem that much cash to throw behind a political organization, given that there's guys who have tossed upwards of $5 million at other Super PACs, according to the Times. But consider that Rigopulos is the only person alive to have donated over $200 of the Super PAC’s estimated $1 million in funds.
For the uninitiated, Super PACS are not affiliated with political candidates. But can raise an infinite amount of money from citizens, corporations, and other outfits, and then spend as much money they want to support or attack a candidate. And yes, we realize how contrarian those last two sentences sound, but this is the country we live in. For the record, Rigopulos didn't show any signs of simmering Super PAC donation fever when we interviewed him last year.
