GameStop wants you to 'Go Commando' for Gears 3

If you feel a sharp jab in your back while waiting in line to buy Gears of War 3 at GameStop on Tuesday, you probably won't want to turn around.
GameStop has declared Tuesday, Sept. 20, as National "Go Commando Day," according to a press release, without explicitly defining what it means to "go commando." The event's Facebook page, though, seems to reinforce common wisdom.
For its part, GameStop will be celebrating Gears' unsheathing with midnight celebrations at over 4,000 of its stores on Monday night, handing out "I'm Going Commando" bumper stickers to the first 50 in line, along with a whole package of mini-events to dangle in front of attendees like Gears 2 tournaments and trivia challenges.
Given how bro-tastic we know the Gears series to be, and how many hardened fans are already beyond excited for its explosive finish, you wonder if this proclamation will actually keep people as far away from GameStop as possible on Tuesday.
