GamePlayList Episode 2
gamePlayList:
gamePlayList is busy maturing in its second week here at OXMonline. Reader Saint Azzy takes the hotseat this week to tell us what Slayer and Johnny Cash have in common.
Today's Connoisseur:
Saint Azzy
Favorite bands:
Opeth, Sara Bareilles, KT Tunstall, The Killers, and Muse
Song to listen to...
...while chainsawing legions of zombies:
"Flesh Storm" by Slayer
...when you've got 30 seconds to score the game-winner:
"All Kinds of Time" by Fountains of Wayne
...when your princess is kidnapped:
"Move Away" by The Killers. The bass line just screams, "Let's get my woman back."
...when your sidekick kicks the bucket:
"Ashes" by KT Tunstall.
...After the final boss:
"The Man Comes Around" by Johnny Cash. Just listening to it makes me think "The End."
Song or album you wish was in Guitar Hero/Rock Band:
"2 Hookers & an 8 Ball" by Mindless Self Indulgence. Singing that would be a great challenge, and super fun to do!
Other videogame moment you wish to immortalize with a song?
In Call of Duty 4, during the level "Charlie Don't Surf," listening to "Jihad" by Slayer always sets the mood, especially when you're playing on Veteran. The enemies just don't give up!
If you think you can handle this kind of pressure, send an email to nic@officialxboxmagazine.com with a reason why you should be our next connoisseur.

slayer sucks. their lead singer is just screaming "BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!! RAINING BLOOD!!!!!!" thats not music thats screamo. if you want real thrash metal listen to metallica, anthrax and megadeth. i also advise trying weird al yankovic, buckethead, aerosmith and DRAGONFORCE!!!!
