Forza 4 to have $30 "season pass"
Even though Forza Motorsport 4 is launching with hundreds of cars, and pre-orderers will have access to a handful more, racing game fans will always clamor to get behind the wheel of more vehicles. Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft Game Studios are planning on deploying 60 more sweet rides during the six months after Forza's launch, and they want you to buy them all at once. Fortunately, there's good reason for you to do so as the companies are introducing the "Forza Motorsport 4 Season Pass," which will give race fans six car packs (due out from November 2011 to April 2012) for $30. Purchasing the packs one by one will ultimately cost $39. In addition to the six DLC bundles starting in November, purchasers of the season pass will also get the game's first batch of cars -- the "American Muscle" pack -- for free.
In addition to the season pass, the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway was also confirmed to make its debut in Forza Motorsport 4. You can check out images of the "American Muscle" pack and IMS below. Forza fans -- will you shell out $30 at launch to get all of the DLC for less?
