Double Fine loses 'Trenched' name, Costume Quest lead

With the upcoming European release of what we currently know as Trenched, Double Fine has decided to implement a few additions to the tower defense/mech shooter as stated on Giant Bomb's live show and reported by GamesRadar. Most notably, the game will undergo a worldwide title change, adopting the 'Iron Brigade' name to keep consistency around the world and avoid running afoul of the manufacturers of a European board game called Trenched. Thankfully, the next update to the game will do far more than change the name of one of Xbox Live Arcade's greatest games, as the free upgrade will add more weapons, accessories, moves, and a survival mode (which is now mandated to be in every game with a gun).
Elsewhere in Double Fine's hallowed halls, Tasha Harris -- the project lead of Costume Quest and lead animator for Brutal Legend -- has left the company. Reportedly heading back to Pixar (where she worked before Double Fine), Harris announced her departure in the only appropriate manner: via webcomic.
What do you think of these changes at one of the most prolific Xbox Live Arcade developers?
