Doom returns to XBLA
After an unfortunate hiatus due to legal circumstances, groundbreaking first-person shooter Doom is once again available for download on Xbox Live Arcade for 400 Microsoft Points ($5 USD).
The legendary game was originally sold on XBLA through a publishing deal with Activision. After Zenimax purchased Doom developer id Software, though, the game was de-listed as the rights to the product changed hands. Now it's back, complete with the same Achievements and online co-op or DeathMatch gameplay. And at just five bucks, anyone who's ever liked a first-person shooter owes it to themselves to check it out, if you ask us. We virtually guarantee you'll get your money's worth.
