Dead Island patched, DLC likely delayed

Deep Silver, the publisher of the open-world zombie-killing-sim Dead Island, has sent out a press release noting the game selling one million copies in the US (with a two million worldwide tally expected this week). However, all is not well on Dead Island, as the developers told Kotaku that the game's initial DLC will probably be pushed back in order to provide fixes to some of the game's more serious bugs.
While gamers may have to wait a bit longer to see more of Dead Island, Xbox 360 owners can take solace in the fact that a major patch has already come for the console. The official Dead Island Twitter account sent an update yesterday with news that the Xbox 360 version has been updated with "improvements to matchmaking, AI, quest and escort fixes, [and] visual glitch fixes"
Dead Island players -- were you having trouble with the game on 360? If so, has yesterday's update improved the experience for you?
