Claire and Ashley's voice actors deny Resident Evil 6 involvement

Fans eager to see a reunion between Chris Redfield and his sister Claire, or Leon Kennedy and Ashley Graham, the child he saved in Resident Evil 4, shouldn’t get their hopes up too high. According to both Alyson Court and Carolyn Lawrence, who played Claire and Ashley respectively, Capcom hasn’t approached them about returning to the roles in Resident Evil 6.
While Alyson broke the news on her Twitter feed, Carolyn responded directly to RelyonHorror.com. Chris and Claire not appearing together in the same game is nothing new for the two characters, but it would have been cool to finally see the siblings reunited after so long. That Ashley’s voice actor hasn’t been contacted actually lends more credence to the rumors that the blonde woman in the trailer is actually Sherry Birkin (from Resident Evil 2), which would make more sense given the context of the trailer.
This isn’t exactly a confirmation neither character will be in the game. Resident Evil 6 isn’t due out until this November, so there’s still time for both of these actors to get the call. That said, the odds aren’t looking that good.
