Call of Duty: Black Ops review

Karma Online is better than this game. I tried playing Karma during the CBT and it's really good. For those who haven't tried playing Karma Online, I suggest you try it out and see for yourself why this game rocks! According to their website, we can download and play the game already. I think the Pre-OBT period started July 5. I hope you all try it out so we can have a really fun time there. See you there.

This game reminds me of Karma Online:POD, but i think karma online is much better because of the customized character and with added artillery if you do some consecutive kills and with a twist of zombies in survival mode. Try checking the website and see for yourself. www.joymax.com/karma

Borrowed this game for a week from a friend, because I refuse to BUY another Call of Duty game ever again. I was reminded why when I played Black Ops. The campaign was okay, had its cool moments. Multiplayer, on the other hand... never before have I partaken in such an absolutely horrendous online experience. It disgusts me that people think the multiplayer on this game is actually good. I love your magazine, OXM, but I am clueless as to how you gave this game a 9.5, when it's more deserving of something in the neighborhood of 5 to 6.5. Doesn't deserve that rating in any way, shape, or form.

Zombies rules, it is the best part of the game. Campaign is sweet and multiplayer has definitely improved.

Now this is more like it! Finally, a COD game worth playing the rest of this year! The campaign was epic, and the multiplayer has been improved, however it still does not live up to Bad Co. 2 or Medal of Honor standards. Zombies is where this game truly shines. I have found myself addicted to the zombie-slaughtering mayhem. Dead Ops is also a fun feature, giving me flashbacks of "Zombie Apocalypse" and "I Made a Game With Zombies in it." Zombies is what truly makes this game shine. Good job Treyarch!

Halo...IEP

I quit reading the review, and skipped to the end due to all of the spoilers... this is supposed to be a review, not a walkthrough! So far, I'm really enjoying the game... there are tons of things that i love about it more than MW2, yet it still has a few flaws... I would easily give it a solid 9, though I don't have a problem with the 9.5. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I don't get paid to give it. :-D ScreamngSilence

Joe Which is more confusing? The ending of Inception, or the ending of this?

"It stands with Reach as the gold standard by which all Xbox first-person shooters should be judged." (OXM) I have played Halo Reach, I enjoyed Halo Reach,....and this Sir is no Halo Reach. I's not even a WAW or MW2. Anticipated release date...got it...started campaign...and "B.O." really describes this one. The only reason I'll complete (maybe) is to get to Zombies. A.I. teammates always in the way (blocking shots/escape routes).Infinite re-spawn of enemies (can't thin them out a little from afar). I expected an A and got a B...minus. Should have been the other way around by now. Multiplayer seems ok and has some new and unique features. I'm just a little frustrated with overall polish of gameplay. This franchise should be next to perfect by now...but hey...It's just my opinion. And you know what they say about those!
