Been waiting for Castle Crashers' Pink Knight to show up on 360? You'll no longer need to be jealous of those lucky PSN fans, who got access to the once-mythical character back in February this year. The Behemoth announced their Title Update 2 for Castle Crashers yesterday, which not only drops The Pink Knight (a character created by the team in response to fan-generated rumors), but the Blacksmith, a team vs. team feature to Player Match Arena, and two new Avatar awards (Cardinal Animal orb and Knight Helmet), along with a few other goodies and some bug fixes.
Added bonus: for each of the first 50,000 downloads of The Pink Knight, The Behmoth will donate $1 to the Keep A Breast Foundation, which promotes breast cancer detection and prevention awareness. With Castle Crashers consistently ranking high in the XBLA charts since its release, it's likely that threshold will hit by this weekend, but there's that added incentive to grab it...if a new free character with new free weapons wasn't already enough to entice you.
As for us, we're hoping that sweet-looking lollipop (no pun intended - see the PSN announcement screen, above) will be included, so we can whack each other in a few team vs. team matches with it.
