Bethesda brings experimental Skyrim footage to DICE
During his keynote at DICE 2012, Bethesda game director and executive producer Todd Howard debuted a sizzle reel trailer showing experimental new Skyrim features being developed by Bethesda employees. None of the features are guaranteed to see future release, but among the concepts being worked with were epic dragon mounts, seasonal foliage, new enemies, and all-new weapons and skill trees.
The new features are the result of Bethesda's annual “game jam,” a week-long event where employees are allowed to develop anything they want on company time provided they follow a certain theme. This year, the theme merely asked employees to develop things that could be implemented in Skyrim. Employees proceeded to come up with a dizzying array of new features that included Kinect shouts, building houses, adopting children, kill cams for ranged weapons, new stealth options, paralysis runes, moving platforms, running water in dungeons, new companion features, dungeons you must navigate through torchlight, goblins, fast travel, exotic mounts like flaming horses, mounted combat, fat giants, werebears, mudcrab animations, and a new giant mudcrab enemy.

I don't know why but I keep rewatching the flow-based water shader.
