Battlefield 3's multiplayer and campaign on separate Xbox discs

The Xbox 360 is no stranger to multi-disc games, but most games that span more than a single DVD usually come in a single flavor: role-playing games. With titles like Mass Effect 2 and Final Fantasy XIII, changing discs (usually) makes sense, as you complete a portion of the game, switch to the next disc, and never go back. Speaking with Eurogamer, EA's Battlefield 3 multi-disc plans aren't quite as convenient for shooter fans.
According to EA, Battlefield 3's first disc will include multiplayer, co-op levels, and data for players who choose to install the game. The second disc will feature the full Battlefield 3 campaign. Shooter fans, does this separation of campaign and multiplayer bother you, or do you experience both separately enough that you'll be able to deal with it?

Don't have any issue with it, we've seen it before with Halo 3: ODST.What it says to me is that Dice sat back and said "You know what? We're going to make this game so amazing, that we're going to have to ship two discs. Best way to handle that is to separate the SP Campaign from the MP Suite of gameplay on the two discs."All it means it that, right there above. Each part is going to have the complete "on-disc" resources of an entire game. As a gamer, that makes me very very happy.

This wont bother me at all just like many have said the single player will be played once or twice and then it's all on the multiplayer for a long long long time so this works great.

Not a big deal to me. A better question is what will MS do to alleviate this problem in the next Console? Blu-ray? Proprietary? Something else? Any ideas?
