See Who's Sneaking Up on You in the Dark
According to IGN, five multiplayer maps for The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena will be available as downloadable content, on top of the 15 included on the disc itself. No release date or pricing has been announced, but the additional maps are expected to see the light of day shortly after the game's release.

VERDICT: Well, after criminally leaving multiplayer out of the first game, it looks like Starbreeze is looking to more than make up for it.
Get Your Homies Ready
Eurogamer got the big scoop on the upcoming DLC for Saints Row 2, including tons of details and a brand-new trailer. Besides offering a new area in the game, it'll feature new vehicles and items, four new multiplayer maps, and a brand-new "Co-op Competitive Mode." Expect to see the pack on-sale April 16 for 800 Microsoft Points ($10), and check out the new trailer right here.

VERDICT: Probably the most exciting thing about the DLC is a new co-op mode, since the game's regular co-op is mega-awesome. THQ really knows how to serve their fanbase.
The New NEW Xbox Experience
Not only did the NXE receive an update to fix some people's interruption issues, but Joystiq tells us new "professional" clothing for Avatars is available now as well. The new set has eight new pieces, including a Suit and Tie for male Avatars, and Slacks and a Pinstripe Blazer for females.
VERDICT: Okay, that's cool, but can we just get basic color T-shirts? It really can't be that hard.
Prototype Smash!
A new trailer for Activision's upcoming Prototype gives us 10 reasons to run out and pre-order our copies. Reasons include shooting enemies quite far into the sky, throwing them into helicopters, and piledriving them off the tops of buildings. Expect to see Prototype on shelves this summer; meanwhile, you can watch the video right here.

VERDICT: Seriously, that video rules. Where else will you blow up a tank by elbow-dropping it?
Here, Birdy Birdy
After the NeoGAF forums took the first-look screens of Red Faction: Guerilla and turned the toted hammer into an ostrich, the developers at Volition decided to have their payback and include an ostrich as an unlockable multiplayer weapon in the actual game. The weapon was shown in Volition's April Fool's video, but was confirmed to be in-game by its developers blog.

VERDICT: This might be the most well-played response to criticism a developer has ever had. Well done, Volition.
