Boogie Bunnies

The titular Boogie Bunnies are nauseatingly adorable — they chirrup “hello” whenever you aim at them, and they giggle and twitter as you blast them into the stratosphere. Match three or more like-colored bundles of cute and watch them fly away — for all the similarities, you might as well call it Bunny Bobble. The novel twist is that you can shoot from the sides of the grid as well as the front, thereby avoiding jams. Sometimes the bunnies speed up, sometimes they dance their way into new environments (snow, jungle, beach), but the game mechanics rarely evolve. By the time they did on level 13, we’d lost interest from the previous dozen repetitive levels.
The two-player co-op game makes for mild (offline) fun, but the too-short music loops will drive you crazy and your teeth will hurt from the sugar content. The game’s biggest sin? These Bunnies are boring.

I didn't think it was THAT bad! I downloaded the demo, it's fun, and cute, and really addicting. But maybe it's just me.

Gameplay isn't very deep and there aren't many different ways to play, the controls aren't particularly responsive, making quick aiming difficult. Co-op is frustrating and just doesn't fit very well.
But the gameplay is fun for a while, and the bunnies are pretty cool. My 8yr. old son thinks it's cool...
