Bliss Island
WORDS BY: Matt Cabral

Anyone who’s been on a cruise will relate to the tropical tune playing over Bliss Island’s menu. Except the last time you enjoyed this music, you were on your third mini-umbrella–adorned cocktail. To appreciate this collection of mindless minigames, you should make sure you’re in a similar state. Playing as a Q-Bert–looking character, you embark on a series of challenges revolving around your ability to produce bursts of air. These powerful puffs help you avoid obstacles, propel you forward, and direct projectiles in a variety of generic feeling mini-games. As a free Flash game, Bliss Island would be mildly entertaining, but in light of Live Arcade’s more engaging offerings, it just doesn’t cut it here.
