This Week In Xbox — 4/10
WORDS BY: Taylor Cocke
Look, Mr. Bubbles!
After 2K Games dropped the subtitle for Bioshock 2 (“Sea of Dreams” was the title of the trailer, not the game itself), a new gameplay trailer for the game has popped up over at Gametrailers. The trailer shows gameplay from, based on the huge freakin’ drill, the perspective of a big daddy. Check it out right here.

VERDICT: Well, we expected the game to look awesome, but it seems suspiciously familiar…
Not To Be Proto-typical…
Activision has finally given the world a release date for its upcoming open-world brawler Prototype. According to Joystiq, the game will be released on June 5 in Europe and June 9 stateside. While you wait, run out and grab the comics based on the game that will be released this month.

VERDICT: Finally, we have a set date in which we can destroy the entirety of New York City.
Be At Peace
The guys over at ScrewAttack (by way of Game Informer's cover story) have graced us with a huge amount of Assassin’s Creed 2 info. On top of revealing the new look for the protagonist, Ezio Auditore de Firenze, they tell us that there will be new weapons, varied mission types, different enemies, the ability to swim, and, perhaps most importantly, the chance to use a gliding machine from Da Vinci’s own workshop. Check out the full list of new info right here.

VERDICT: Apparently fashion doesn’t change much in 300 years… Do they have to wear the same hoodie?
That Mr. Molyneux Knows How To Treat Us Well
Once again, the developers over at Lionhead Studios have whet our appetite for Fable II. After the successful release of Knothole Island, their previous DLC, in January, the new pack will be released next month for 560 Microsoft Points. According to the developers, the content will include a search for three cursed items, a slew of new quests, new items, and even the ability to change the breed of your dog.

VERDICT: But our current dog is so cute! Why would we ever want to change that face?
Tired Of All That Mumbo Jumbo?
Finally delivering on the promise that it made over a decade ago when Banjo-Kazooie was first released, Rare will be implementing the Stop ‘N Swop feature to its classic platformers, Joystiq reports. The feature allows for unlocking content in Banjo-Tooie for completing certain goals in the first game. Check out the video right here, and expect to see Banjo-Tooie on Xbox Live Arcade sometime this month.

VERDICT: Man, I love these games. The more content, the better.

OMG, Bioshock 2? The first game was probably the best game I've every played, I hope this new one is great.

To be fair, I've heard alot of people comment on the familliarity of the Bioshock footage, and I agree, I was hoping that Bioshock 2 would be taken out of Rapture. Of course, this short clip doesn't necessarily mean this will be Bioshock 1 with a big daddy suit, but I get the comment.

I knew I was going to get some crap for that. I have no complaints, I loved Bioshock. And I understand that it was only a couple minutes of footage, no need to explain that to me. Honestly, it was just a snide comment and should not be taken too seriously. I am highly anticipating the sequel and will most likely be buying it on day 1.

really taylor? are you really complaining about what you saw in bioshock 2 being familiar? of course its going to be familiar, its a sequel. and what you saw was like, a minscule fraction of the game. we saw like two minutes of it. that isnt enough to judge a game being too familiar from the first one. dont pass judgement that quickly on something as amazing as bioshock.
