Meet Their Next Game!
At the Tokyo Game show this past week, Bungie announced their newest project, Halo 3: Recon. Check out the official trailer here. Rather than playing as Master Chief or another Spartan, you get to play as an ODST, one of the men fighting alongside Master Chief in the trilogy. No release date yet, but keep your eyes peeled for any new information on the title.
VERDICT: Another game set in the Halo universe? Who saw that coming? Certainly not everyone ever.
World Tour Announces Downloadable Content
1up tells us that upon release of Guitar Hero World Tour, there will be downloadable content exclusively for Xbox 360 owners. The Classic Rock Pack will be available to all owners, but Xbox 360 owners will have access to the R.E.M. Track Pack, which will include "Horse to Water," "Man-Sized Wreath," and "Supernatural Superserious", all off of their newest album.
VERDICT: Well, that answers that. We're going to be able to spend another couple hundred bucks to play another set of songs on our TV's. And we will enjoy it.
Well, Those Are Some Hostile Pirates...
Following the theft and leak of the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3, Bethesda sent a cease and desist letter to the website hosting the files. In response, the owner reportedly told Bethesda to "kiss my white a**", and that they "are Pirates so deal with it". Obviously, this is going to lead to some sort of legal battle between Bethesda and pirates.
VERDICT: Wow... Game pirates are certainly getting uppity lately. I really hope Bethesda will be able to put them in their place. The piracy business needs to be shut down so it can't hurt the industry any further.
Oh Boy! More Zombies!
A brand new Resident Evil 5 trailer was released at the Tokyo Game Show, which you can check out here. The new video gives us some insight into what is going to be happening in the plot of the upcoming sequel to the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4 as well as introducing us to the villain of the new game. Unfortunately, the video only included cinematics and no gameplay.
VERDICT: Joyous day! Incoherent zombies abound!
The Dashboard is Coming!
Microsoft has announced a release date for their "New Xbox Experience" - November 19th. The simaltaneous global release will include both the new and improved Dashboard as well as the Rare-designed Avatars.
VERDICT: Well, if the Xbox Live servers hold up, this will indeed be an exciting day for us all.

Yes Indeed I am VERY interested in the new Halo 3 Recon game, it actually looks very good, kinda like the game with a new look and thought comming from someone other than master chief.
Im also VERY excited for the New Xbox Live Expierence. It looks very awesome, and though people think its the Wii, ITS NOT, You can do so much mo with the Miis and has its own universe on Xbox live.

Arnt ODSTs the lesser versian of Master Chief?
I mean, they're humans and have no shields, only 70% make through the drop, they die faster(no shields!) Is this like Halo 3.5?
