1) Buy some buttercup seeds (two coins each) and grow them. Then, tell your Sparrowmints to eat them. Your Sparrows will quickly turn into bright yellow Candaries, worth 600 apiece.
2) One for the sadists: Lure a Taffly as a permanent resident. Buy a Firebrand torch from Costolot’s. Tell your Taffly to fly into it, grab your watering can, and watch the little guy go up in flames. The minute the now-flaming guy lands, water him. He’ll turn into a Reddhott, worth a massive 2,100 coins.
3) If you beat Seedos long enough with your shovel, he tosses out a crapload of weed seeds. Avoid the poison ivy (or maybe grow one, just to get the Achievement), but if he gives you a Venus Piñata Trap seed, create a fenced-in area and plant it for big bucks. Once the top is yellow, beat it with the shovel. The seed heads go for 300 a pop, and you’ll get a ton more seeds. Just be sure to keep that area fenced-off, as weeds have an antagonistic effect on your animals.
