2K Games has announced that the Yager-developed Spec Ops: The Line goes on sale in North America on June 26, 2012, with an international release to follow on June 29. This date effectively delays the military third-person shooter three months from its originally announced release window of spring 2012.

After receiving the Australian rating of 15+ during its pre-delay certification process, The Darkness II developer Digital Extremes added new content, including a sex scene, which caused 2K Games to re-send the game for a new rating.
We hoped this DLC might redeem Duke Forever somehow — show us a new side of the tank-topped hero, or hint at potential the full game never realized. We probably shouldn't have hoped.
